User authorization

We have added a new type of user authorization role (general > editing documents):

• ·         Cost per hour

It prevents the user to change the value of the “cost per hour” field of a work operation on a work order.

• ·         Estimated cost

In the same way as “cost per hour”, this limits changing estimated cost on input items and stock price on output items in a work order.

• ·         Search scope – all suppliers

In practice, especially when we have a lot of items with similar name, users often mismatch items on purchase orders. To prevent this type of entering errors we have added this option to limit the search scope to the selected supplier. When a user is adding an item on documents manually, the search box will only offer items that belong to that supplier.

• ·         Applied “Selling price” and “Purchase price” to an item set up.

Now unchecking “Selling price” and “Purchase price” in the user authorization list will prevent user to change prices in the item setup.
